Abstract
Background & Purpose: : Today, the organization's manpower play a vital role in advancing the organization's goals and visions, and the correct selection of leadership style according to the Iranian-Islamic culture of the country can lead to the manpower productivity and their spirituality in the workplace. Therefore, the main objective of the study was to compare the Islamic leadership style with Western behavioral styles in terms of their impact on manpower productivity with the mediation of Islamic spirituality in the workplace.
Methodology: The statistical population of the study included all employees of government organizations in Rasht city, and the statistical sample of the study was estimated to be 384 people using the Cochran sampling formula from an unlimited population; the sampling method was also convenience sampling. The present study is applied in terms of its purpose and descriptive-correlational-survey in nature.
Findings: The results of structural equation modeling (SEM) using LISREL 8.8 software showed that among the Leadership Styles Targeted by the Research, the Islamic leadership style has the greatest impact on manpower productivity and Islamic spirituality in the workplace, and the relational and task leadership styles are in the next stages.
Conclusion Considering the results of the research and the proof of the high impact of the Islamic leadership style on manpower productivity and spirituality, officials and senior managers of government organizations in Rasht city are recommended to implement the Islamic leadership style in their organizations.
